This position requires knowledge in adherence with all company standards, policies and procedures, as well as compliance with all federal and state regulations, including OSHA, TCEQ etc.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Follow safety rules, regulations and procedures set forth by MSHA/OSHA and Alleyton policies.
Safely perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections along with the batchman.
Demonstrate the ability to safely and productively inspect and clean the cement tankers and work areas.
Make admixes available to batchman at the first of every production day.
Safely load and un-load a minimum of 50-pound sacks of admixes.
Assist maintenance personnel with plant repairs when needed.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Cross train on other positions in the plant in order to serve as a relief to other operators.
Demonstrates a positive, upbeat attitude and energy level and works as a team player.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned.

Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
General maintenance experience preferred.
Proficient knowledge of MSHA/OSHA safety requirements or ability to learn.
Computer Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS Most time is spent outdoors in a mostly open area environment.
Outside assignments will require periods of work in all weather conditions, heat, cold, wet or dry.
May have exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel, exhaust, lubricants, solvents, etc.
Work area may have noise levels up to 90 dbs.
Work areas require personal protective equipment such as, hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, high visibility vest or shirt, and hearing protection.
All safety equipment will be provided by the company.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
